Today's was a no-prep meal. We just picked up some rice at Cunard and raided the freezer for the rest. It's too cold to care.
Cunard's Mushroom Fried Rice, Egg Rolls & Rangoons
Cunard's Mushroom Fried Rice
I think this might be my first Cunard entry. The Cunard has pretty good food, but we don't eat there a lot since we stopped eating meat because they don't have vegetable egg rolls. However, they do have some fairly good mushroom rice and they are a lot closer than Trans Palace, and tonight that mattered, as I had no plans to go to Newcastle.

Another bonus to going to the Cunard tonight was the amazing server, Brenda! I even got a hug when I went in...don't expect one unless you know her, but do expect fantastic service. That girl knows how to treat customers! :)

Egg Rolls & Cheese Rangoons
These were just in the freezer, waiting for a lazy night. Tonight was that night.
Egg rolls & cheese rangoons in the freezer
Out of the freezer they came, and into our 375 degrees F oven. Well, not together. The egg rolls had to go in first and cook for 15 minutes before putting the rangoons in, which are much quicker to heat. They were still too brown because they were fried too long to begin with for freezing. Didn't matter to me, I still loved them!

Recipe Please!
Here is the Cheese Rangoon recipe, if you're interested in making them. They make great party treats and they freeze well, but if you're making them to freeze, fry until golden, not brown.Reviews/Comments
This was ok. The egg rolls have nothing on Trans Palace's, whose egg rolls serve as the bar to meet. I'm gonna score everything separately tonight.Cunard's rice: 7
Egg rolls: 4
Cheese rangoons: 10
Overall Score: 7
Laura: Meh! 7...no, 6...rangoons too brown and egg rolls not Trans Palace.
