It's "fend for yourself" day here, I guess. Laura had some fruit and rice cakes, then went to lay down. I told her I was having a Triple B and she decided she'd skip it, deciding she'd had enough to eat. So, I made one for myself. Didn't even toast the bun...but then, the buns are soft Kaiser buns and I didn't think it needed toasting.

We had a few of these in the freezer for occasions such as this. When you're like, "Fuck it. I don't want to cook. And I'm hangry."I took a patty out and wrapped it in foil to prevent browning, since they were browned plenty when they were originally cooked, and I put it in the 450 degrees F oven. It was still half frozen after 15 minutes so I put it into a pan to heat faster, browning be damned.

Condiments
I just wanted to eat, so I kept it extremely simple with ketchup and mustard...no veggies. Then as an afterthought, I added some mayo.

Two bites in and I was heading back to the kitchen for an avocado. Much better. It needed something to offset the dryness because it was sort of tough to swallow.

Lovely yet again. Might have been better on a toasted bun. With some red onion, lettuce, tomato, and some of that good spicy mayo. But, given the hunger factor and the ease of prep-which goes a long way with me-and also factoring in the sheer deliciousness of the butter bean burger patty, I rate it an 8.
