Pizza again! We do eat a lot of pizza, eh? So many ways to have it so you gotta love the options. Even at a pizza joint, I love to consider all the options, and don't order the same thing every time. I especially love stuffed crusts, poppyseed crusts, sesame seed crusts, etc.
We used to have a pizza stone, a gift from my thoughtful parents, but it cracked one day about 9 or 10 years ago and broke our pizza-living hearts. We intend to replace it soon.
Authentica PUTTANESCA Sauce
Tonight, I found this interesting looking sauce at Sobey's and had to give it a try. It was very olive-y with whole olives and capers in it, and it was more oily than most sauces - olive oil, of course.

Homemade Pitas
We used the pitas Laura had made on Sunday as the crusts because yum...and, waste not want not.

Simple Pizza for Simple Folk
(Laura will kill me for referring to her as simple folk haha)In the name of near starvation we decided to keep the pizzas simple with just cheese, mushrooms and olives. And oregano, of course. No garlic, no onions, both of which usually make the cut.
Black olives, fresh mushrooms, olive-y sauce,
cheese and oregano on a homemade pita.

Reviews/Comments
I thought I was going to be giving supper a rating of 4 or 5 tonight, in the spirit of, "Pizza again!?" But, these were super good. Two of them was a bit too much food, so I overate a little. So olive-y! Loved them :)Erin: 7
