Eggs Benedict

Day 110

Last night, Day 109, I didn't blog because I was at a hair appointment most of the evening (for realz) and Laura had my plate of mushroom and rice casserole warmed up in the oven for me. It was late. I was tired. I looked amazing. But there was no time to blog about leftover rice. Bath, bed and zzzz. I actually had to go to bed earlier, too, because I had blood work this morning.  

We had this tonight because we had all the stuff. And we love it.

For the actual "recipe" you'll have to revisit November. This will just be a series of lovely pics I took tonight because I was called away to do a favor for our boy midway through the meal and I left as soon as I finished and got home after 11. Because that's the kind of moms we are. Nice ones :)


Hollandaise

I've decided I prefer International hollandaise over the Knorr brand. I like that it uses water instead of milk too.

Poached Eggs

Hard to get a good pic of eggs as they are poaching. Always so steamy! Fogged my lens tonight, actually; probably not too good for my camera.

Steamed Asparagus

So easy peasy. Just washed it and put it in the electric frying pan with a bit of water and put the lid on.

Always so good. Laura's gone to bed so I can't ask her what she thinks, but I didn't hear her complaining.
